What is the role of a life coach?
The role of a life coach is to support you in reaching your goals by helping you build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I believe you already have the wisdom you need, so our work will center on identifying and overcoming internal obstacles preventing you from accessing that wisdom so you can step into the life you’ve always dreamed about.

Is coaching a replacement for therapy?
No. If you are experiencing mental health struggles that are affecting your ability to cope with daily life, please find a licensed therapist who can assist you in your healing process. I have discovered that Psychologytoday.com is an excellent resource for finding a therapist. Once you feel healthy and ready, a life coach can be a great addition to your support team or a stand-alone resource for reaching your goals and improving life satisfaction.

What can I expect during my session?
All sessions will take place via Zoom and last 45-60 minutes. I will come to each session ready to give my total energy and attention to whatever you bring to our conversation that day. You set the agenda, and I will be there every step of the way to support you on your journey. I may ask questions to get to the heart of an issue or struggle, or we might work with a specific tool that can help you find clarity or peace. This is your journey, so we will go wherever you want at your own pace.

Can I contact my life coach in between sessions?
Absolutely. My cell phone number and email are available on my website's “Contact” page. I will quickly respond to messages, texts, and emails within regular business hours. Messages outside of business hours will be answered on the next business day. If you require a lengthy response or the subject of your inquiry seems to benefit from a deeper conversation, I suggest you schedule an entire session to allow us the time and attention needed to attend to your needs.

How can I improve my outcomes?
I want you to get the most out of our coaching sessions together. Having a distraction-free space is essential to your success. Turn off your computer and phone notifications, turn off your ringer, close other computer windows, attend to your pets before sessions, etc. This is your time; please claim it and protect it. I also suggest you take notes during our sessions to refer back to later. I will take notes when we are working with specific tools, but for the most part, your notes will help you identify and record the information and breakthroughs that speak to you most. Spending 10-15 minutes after each session to review your notes and record additional insights or reactions is another helpful way to get even more out of each session. I also suggest you review your previous session notes between sessions to keep information/goals top-of-mind and again right before your next session if that is helpful to you. This is your journey, so please check in with yourself to see what you think is most aligned for you.

What is the cost of working with a life coach?
Great question! This depends on the type of work we do together. My current rate is $150 per session, but this price is subject to change. I also offer coaching packages of 4, 8, and 12 sessions, in which you will receive a slight discount (about 10%) from my individual session rate. We will discuss all costs upfront before we begin our work together so there won't be any surprises.
*It’s important to me that everyone has access to coaching. Because of this, I offer a limited number of reduced and free coaching sessions per month. If you are someone who feels you would benefit from coaching but isn’t currently in the financial position to pay my full fee, please don’t let that stop you from reaching out.
