Hi, I’m Sheri!
The Shiny Version.
I am in my early 40’s.
I have been married to my amazing husband since 2008, and we are raising two children (ages 14 and 12).
Our golden retriever, Boomer, is the light of our lives and brings us so much joy.
I was born and raised in Washington State, and my family currently lives in the foothills of the Cascade Mtn Range east of Seattle.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Social Sciences from the University of Washington.
I love many things: being creative, interior decorating, cooking, singing, spending time in nature, listening to and playing music, having quiet afternoons and taking naps, learning new things, and spending time with the people I love most.
The Messy (and authentic) Version.
I was led to work as a life coach because I have dealt with my share of hardships and have needed and benefitted from the work. Like many of you, I’ve struggled to navigate life with mental health disorders, complicated family dynamics, low self-worth, that rude inner critic, limiting beliefs about who I am and what I’m capable of, and finding myself again after a significant loss or change. Working with life coaching tools has allowed me to bring a new perspective to my struggles and find empowering solutions. It has also allowed me to express myself more fully in all areas of my life. While I have vast experience with traditional therapy, I always felt like something was missing in my well-being toolbelt. The tools I’ve learned while training to become a life coach have filled that void, and I feel a level of joy and hope in my life that has felt out of reach for a long time. I want to share these tools with others and help them step into their authenticity and joy to reach their own unique goals. I believe that each of us is wise and knows what we need to live our best lives. Sometimes, we need someone to remind us of that and reintroduce us to our wise, essential Self, and I hope I can be that person for you.
